Global cleantech spending set for 14 percent growth this year, says Lux Research

May 31 - Lux Research - Spending on the development of new energy and environmental technologies -- aka cleantech -- is projected to grow by 14 percent in 2007 to exceed $55 billion worldwide, according to Lux Research. The analysts forecast corporate and government spending up by 10 percent and venture capital on track to double.
